Early Years
Innovative learning

At Palacio de Granda, children from one year enjoy a bilingual environment, safe and stimulating, in which teachers and highly qualified assistants take care offering support and guidance throughout the Preschool stage.

Our project work methodology provides children with strategies and tools for solving problems that develop their autonomy and promote teamwork. Being active and innovative, based on discovery, it turns students into the true protagonists through meaningful and experiential learning. It is a very dynamic and motivating way for them, which encourages their interest in exploring and investigating. In addition, it reinforces their social skills through the exchange of ideas and collaborative work.

Primary
Innovative learning

We encourage children in Primary to take charge of their education, taking an active approach based on team work, game-based learning, and hands-on projects. We attach great value to creativity, collaboration, investigative learning, and digital competency.

Our academic programme, which includes the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), is supplemented by a variety of activities during the academic year to enrich their learning through personal experience. We have also implemented the Singapore Maths methodology where students acquire all the necessary maths strategies to be able to apply and contextualize them.

Secondary
Innovative learning

After four years of Secondary education at Palacio de Granda, students develop social and personal skills in a real-world context.

We also focus our attention on the and interpersonal development of our students, which is very important at this age. An individual approach to education, the efficient use of technology (including personal chromebooks), and emotional development are important features of our school.

The ESO education programme includes an optional curriculum with enriching and diverse academic content and support. In 4º ESO, students can choose optional subjects, preparing them well for the Baccalaureate (Sixth Form)

Baccalaureate

Innovative learning

The Baccalaureate, or the final two years of study, focuses on student intellectual maturity, positive personal relationships, and the knowledge, skills and abilities that will permit students to responsibly and capably join university life.

We offer three Baccalaureate programmes: Science, Social Science, and the Arts. Our highly qualified teaching staff, combined with personal attention and academic support, contribute to student success and open the doors to universities of choice. Our students attend university open days in order to learn about degree courses and the professional career options these lead to.

100% of our students have passed the University Access Baccalaureate Assessment test (EBAU) in recent years. In June 2021 with 44% of students with a grade above 13.
