Primary

Sixth Form
This educational stage consists of two year groups and it focuses on seven key learning areas that are taught through a selection of carefully planned, teacher-led activities, using a topic-based approach that incorporates the use of both our inside and outdoor areas.
The curriculum focuses on the importance of effective learning through play and the positive social and emotional development of our children. The areas that we work in are essential for developing a young child’s capacity to learn and thrive:
-
Personal, social, and emotional development
-
Communication and Language
-
Physical development
-
Literacy
-
Mathematics
-
Understanding the World
-
Expressive Art and Design
Primary
Our primary school curriculum is very broad and offers our students the opportunity to discover the world through a range of different topics and learning areas. The primary curriculum is divided into two stages: Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) and Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6).
- We provide an interdisciplinary approach of knowledge through a range of different subjects.
- From “Primary” upwards, students have the opportunity to join our “School Clubs” during school hours where they
can develop new experiences and hobbies.
-
Our students study the subjects of the British National Curriculum as well as Spanish language and culture/humanities.
-
Whilst continuing to improve their Spanish, they start to study a third language: French or German.
In addition to core subjects, they can choose from a wide range of electives: from Art and Design to Business Studies.
-
We prepare students for the IGCSE exams.
-
In the last year, they have the opportunity to participate in a one-week work experience programme.
- Students receive personalised advice from their teachers and tutors before making any important decisions concerning their future.
- We encourage our students to study 4 or 5 specialised subjects, including Spanish A Level, which closely match their skills and professional aspirations.
- We also offer a complimentary Spanish Studies program to prepare students for access to Spanish universities.
- Our students can choose between either at Spanish universities, centres in the UK, or at any university in the world.
International Opportunities
ISP BUDDY EXCHANGE
We provide the opportunity for our students to participate in one international exchange between ISP schools around the world. A unique learning experience for students between the ages of 14 and 17.
ISP SUMMER CAMP
At our summer camps in the USA and England, students take part in academic challenges, leadership development activities and sports competitions.
ISP MUN
Our students from all over the world come together to experience an educational simulation of a true UN conference, a truly international and multicultural event in which they learn about diplomacy, international relations, research techniques, public speaking, debating, critical thinking skills, teamwork and leadership, in addition to discovering the country and the culture destination.
We are part of a leading educational worldwide group.
We are part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), one of the largest educational groups in the world with 12 private schools in Spain. Our goal is to empower our students to adopt an international mindset through innovative learning.
